VICENNIUM (Lat. “twenty years”) is a festive march for wind band, ideally suited for both concert performance and parade. From the very first measures, an energetic motif establishes a light and spirited atmosphere that carries the entire first section. The trio, calmer and more expressive, reveals a lyrical theme with rich modulations, before a majestic return brings the work to a brilliant conclusion.

Commissioned in 2026 by the Musikgesellschaft Alphorn Plaffeien, this march pays tribute to the 20 years of dedicated service of their conductor, Mr. Michel Stempfel.
